Kicked off the installation of the game on the Alder Lake machine. Just finished playing F.E.A.R. 3. I don’t think I will play all the side quests. I am going to play the main story missions.

Played the game for a bit. Liking it. The floating movement from the first game is still there. I think there are good times ahead with this game. It looks a lot better.

Finished one of the boss levels. Not too bad. Not a big fan of the save system. It starts you all the way back at the mission start if you quit in between. It is more forgiving if you die mid-mission.
It has the problem where you get stuck on terrain.
Going to pause for now and get back to it. Might play some FC5 on Arrow Lake.
Feels like a much more polished version of the first game. Inventory is not excellent.

Action-packed level. Enjoyed it. The penalty for death is high. Died like 3 times. Each time it was over $100. Very steep.
When looting bodies, you get maybe $5. Insane.

Here we go again. When I get to the part where I have to take the elevator to reach the boss battle, I am going to lower the graphics. Playing the game at 30 FPS is going to be brutal. I hope I don’t have to give up this game. It’s fun.

The mortar barrage is impossible to dodge because I do not have the target circle showing up on the ground. Apparently I have to adjust the decals. This got me killed twice. Probably cost me well over $8,000. I do not have the patience to play through the whole thing again. Will get to it tomorrow or later in the evening.

Got killed in the dumbest way possible, and it cost me over $4,000. My anchor point for funds is about $45k at this point. I am above that, so it’s OK, but it’s very annoying how you can die and the game just charges an unspecified amount for a respawn.

Well, after a workout, decided to give it a go, and I finished the game. Died three times at the end. Ended the game with over $100k. Going to uninstall the game and move on to the next game. Should I buy Phantom Liberty and do another Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough? Or continue with Prey? Will decide tomorrow.
